OLIMPICS days poster

Join us for the annual OLIMPICS days to explore what is going on in Grenoble labs!
We will also do a recap' of OLIMPICs activities of the last two years and welcome your suggestions for next years.

? Congratulations to Romane Frey (1st prize) from LIPhy and Alice Cantat (2nd prize) from LPCV for their great talks! The best poster prezentation goes to Nathan Thibieroz from Biosanté CEA.

? Thanks also to all participants for exciting talks and posters as well as vivid discussions!

? Our keynote speakers are:

  • Olivier Destaing - IAB - "Revisiting intracellular Cell signaling of invasion processes through dynamics pertubations"
  • Charlotte Vendrely - LMGP - "Role of surface properties in the function of a protein
    inspired by a natural adhesive"
  • Monika Dolega - IAB - "Mechanical forces and epithelial homeostasis."
  • Maxime Deforet - Lab. Jean Perrin, Paris - "Glassy dynamics in bacterial systems"

? Here is the final program of the OLIMPICS days:

?It includes contributions from the 4 scientific axes of the federation:

  • Investigate the living world: Measure, image and interact, from nano to in vivo scale
  • Bio-inspired physics and engineering: Biomolecules, biomaterials, structure-function couplings
  • Dynamics of living systems: Out-of-equilibrium systems, spatio-temporal evolution
  • Physical interactions: Cell mechanics, microenvironment, radiation.

? And talks by the recipients of the first grants given by OLIMPICS in 2025:

  • Mechanical properties of breast tumors: what biological factors are involved? (Verdier and Planus; LIPhy & IAB)
  • Study of Pseudomonas fluorescens and exceptionally long E. Coli from the long-term evolution experiment by means of optical fiber tweezers. (Fick, Faudry and Mercier; Neel, IBC & TIMC).
  • Nanoscintillators as next generation radiotherapeutics: expanding the therapeutic index of radiotherapy. (Bulin and Raes; IAB & LRB)
  • Pixelated diamond detector for advanced radiotherapy techniques (Livingstone and Adam; LPSC and STROBE)
  • BUD-PAINT: unveiling the nanoscale architecture of HIV-1 budding via high-resolution mapping of ESCRT-III (C. Boscheron, IBS)

+ posters during two days, lunch included.

For catering organization and entry authorization on the site, we need you to register. Of course, with this form you are also invited to submit a scientific contribution!
